Today for our writing warm up, please write a minimum of 8 sentences about what you've accomplished in Creative Writing INC so far. 

Describe what you've been working on
Describe what you feel you want to do next
Tell about any struggles you have with your writing
Describe what you think your ten or more pages of finished writing will be - this might change, of course














Specificity Writing Exercise.

For the following list of words, write a phrase/sentence(s) that are significantly more specific than the word in the list.

  eg,  plant   -   the 6-foot tall ficus plant stood in                     the corner of the office like a soldier,                       shiny and sturdy







Number to ten on a piece of paper.
Choose a character you're writing about, or that you could write about. 













Answer these questions:

2. Age
3. Where does he/she live
4. Physical appearance
5. Friends/family
6. Personality traits
7. Odd Quirks
8. Ambitions/Concerns
9. Fears
10. Favorite Food




Today, consider typing a scene where this character exchanges dialogue with a friend or family member. 
    1. a clear setting
    2. dialogue between 2 or more characters
    3. shows physical actions of characters
    4. is at least half a page of writing
