Story Circle:
Choose a story lead
Write that lead down, plus a few sentences.
Hand papers to the left
Read what's been written and add one or more sentence
Repeat

On the half sheet of paper on your table, write your name, and explain to me 1) what you worked on, specifically 2) how MUCH you wrote, 3) who you shared with, and 4) how it went!?
Turn this in to the box :)
Color Writing - When you see the color on the board, look at it for a bit, then start writing from that color. Maybe you'll describe it; maybe it will suggest a mood or a tone for a scene in a story; maybe it will make you imagine a particular setting....go with it......
Writing Exercise:
Listen to the music for 45 seconds without writing, then, write. This could be brand new inspiration, or maybe it ties to something you're working on.
Music for Writin'
Picture a location from something you're writing about. Take at least six sentences to provide sensory detail for that location (sight, sound, touch, smell, taste). Your last sentence can be the entrance of a character to that location.
