Daily Writing:

Write what you know about your family's ancestors. Where did they come from? What have you heard about them? And/or, do you have any traditions or possessions that are important to your family?








Homework: 
Interview someone at home about where your ancestors came from. Try to get information about how they came here, what happened when they arrived, and other information/anecdotes you can obtain. If no one at home knows about your ancestors, find a person outside of your family who has immigrated to the U.S., or knows someone who has, and ask them questions.
